The rules that cover your use of this website and the Tallyholden platform.
The two things worth knowing before you read any further: trading carries real risk, and Tallyholden is a technology platform rather than a financial adviser.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published here is the version that applies, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
You must be at least 18 years old to open an account and to trade. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or over.
You must also be legally allowed to trade the markets you choose from the place you are in. It is your responsibility to check that, not ours.
Tallyholden is a technology platform. We provide software that reads market data and can place trades according to rules you set.
We are not a financial adviser, we do not provide financial product advice, and we do not manage money on your behalf. Nothing on this website is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
You are responsible for the details you give us. They need to be accurate and they need to be yours. Opening an account in someone else’s name is a breach of these terms.
Keep your login details to yourself. Anything that happens through your account is treated as happening with your authority. If you think someone else has your details, tell us straight away.
When you switch automation on, you are instructing the platform to place trades on your behalf when the rules you set are met. Those trades are your trades, and the results are yours.
You can pause or switch off automation at any time. We do not guarantee that any rule, strategy or setting will produce a particular outcome.
Trading carries a high level of risk. You can lose some or all of the money in your account, and losses can happen quickly.
Our full risk disclosure sets out what that means in more detail. Read it before you trade, and do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
The fees that apply to your account are shown to you before you commit to anything. We do not add charges you have not been told about.
Third parties involved in holding or executing your trades may charge their own fees. Those are not ours, and they are set out in the terms you accept with them.
We aim to keep the platform running at all times, but we cannot promise it will be free of interruptions. Maintenance, faults and things outside our control can take it offline.
We are not responsible for losses caused by an interruption, a delay or a market that moves while the platform is unavailable.
Do not use this website or the platform to break the law, to interfere with how it works, or to gain access to accounts that are not yours.
We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.
The Tallyholden name, this website, and everything on it belong to us or are used with permission. You may not copy or redistribute them without our written consent.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or indirect losses arising from your use of the platform.
Nothing in these terms excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
